The Insurance Council of Texas is hosting the premier event gathering of industry leaders, experts and professionals at the 29th Annual ICT/AFACT Property and Casualty Insurance Symposium September 1-2, 2021. Until recently, the Symposium was scheduled to be an in person event.

While we value the opportunity to network and learn with our members and guests in person, we must consider the health and safety of our attendees and staff under these circumstances. After careful consideration, we changed the format of our Property & Casualty Insurance Symposium to a completely virtual event.

Symposium highlights include a discussion on insurance in a post-pandemic world, experts weigh in on the 87th Texas legislative session, updates from the Texas Department of Insurance, an industry leader discussing the opportunities and challenges presented by the Texas market, and resiliency takes center stage with a panel sharing views, strategies and tactics. The conference concludes with a featured motivational speaker on individual and organizational resiliency!

In addition to being an important event for Texas insurance leaders and professionals, the Symposium also serves as a fundraiser for the ICT Education Foundation, a non-profit charitable organization which provides scholarships and grants to risk management/insurance programs at nine Texas universities. ICT is proud to support the next generation of insurance professionals.

ICT is committed to our guests’ and staff safety, therefore hosting this event virtually via the WebEx platform. Additional information and registration may be found here or by calling Executive Assistant/ Project Manager, Linda Vallejo at 512.637.5437.
