Coronavirus impacts agent, adjuster licensing process

03/17/2020

According to the Texas Department of Insurance, Pearson-Vue, a testing facility that performs fingerprinting and licensing for agents and adjusters will be temporarily shutting their doors in response to COVID-19.

As Texas moves closer to the spring storm season, companies will have the ability to license emergency adjusters without prints or exams on an emergency basis. More information may be found on the TDI website.

At this time, TDI is working on a solution to meet the immediate demands. As we learn more information, we’ll share developments with our members.

You may find updated lists of all DWC and TDI events and meeting cancellations in response to the coronavirus.
