TDI issues terrorism risk insurance national data call

Earlier today, TDI issued Commissioner’s Bulletin # B-0008-18, announcing TDI's participation in a national NAIC data call to collect data related to terrorism risk insurance.

TDI requests that all insurers writing commercial property and casualty policies on lines subject to the Terrorism Risk Insurance Program provide information on terrorism risk insurance described in the data specifications and definitions document for the period January 1, 2017, through December 31, 2017.

Insurers must submit the joint reporting templates to both the states and the Treasury by May 15, 2018; and the state property supplement to the states by September 30, 2018.

Insurers can access the joint reporting templates, the state property supplement, and the data specifications and definitions document
on the NAIC website by clicking here.

More information on the data call, exemptions, and contacts are available by reading
Commissioner’s Bulletin # B-0008-18.
