“Our Symposium is a chance for industry leaders to gather and learn about emerging trends for property and casualty insurance, as well as raise money, through corporate sponsorships and a silent auction, for insurance students attending Texas universities,” said Albert Betts, Executive Director of the Insurance Council of Texas (ICT). Thursday evening July 11, attendees can enjoy the Welcome and Networking Reception and participate in the Education Foundation silent auction.
“We want our attendees to take advantage of the opportunity to connect with peers, learn the latest information about what is happening in the Texas insurance market, and help us inspire and develop the next generation of insurance professionals,” added Betts.
This year’s sessions include discussions on autonomous vehicles, Texas and national market trends and financial outlook, industry efforts to make homes and autos safer, and an extensive discussion on the current Texas legislative session.
In between sessions, ICT urges attendees to take advantage of Austin’s vibrant music scene and nightlife, wonderful restaurants, and beautiful Hill Country scenery.
