Workers' Compensation Services
The Insurance Council of Texas (ICT) provides its member companies with strong and effective advice and representation in workers' compensation regulatory matters, and a variety of services and products that include information and resources members need to be successful in the Texas workers' compensation system. Members benefit from our regulatory efforts and trust that ICT will keep them informed and will listen to their input and concerns.
ICT’s Workers’ Compensation Services program and staff work closely with our Workers’ Compensation Committee and our membership on regulatory issues. ICT reviews and, if needed, comments on every Texas Department of Insurance (TDI) and TDI Division of Workers’ Compensation (DWC) proposed rule making activity impacting workers’ compensation.
Our staff is knowledgeable on workers’ compensation issues with over 40+ combined years of experience in Texas. Because of our depth of knowledge and experience, ICT is considered to be an opinion leader on workers’ compensation issues in Texas.
In addition, ICT has the following workers’ compensation resources and services that our members have access to. These publications can be accessed via the following links:

This includes reviewing, preparing, and submitting written comments and testimony on the agency’s rulemaking efforts, as well as discussion with agency leadership on any system or public policy issues that our members have an interest in.
